Day 23 : Arrival at Leh Airport.

Arrive at Leh Airport in the morning, transfer to guesthouse. Rest till Lunch for acclimatization. (Leh is located at an altitude of 3524 meters (11562 ft) and taking rest is a must health precaution. A walk to Shanti Stupa and coffee at Café.Overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 24 : Sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey, Matho and Stok Palace.

After breakfast leave for a full day of sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey, Matho and Stok Palace. Overnight at the guesthouse in Leh.Shey, was the seat of power of the first king of Ladakh, LhachenSpalgigon, who constructed the hill top fortress. The ruins can be seen further above the present Shey Palace. There are hundreds of Chortens (stupas) and the Dresthanggonpa which lie around and below the palace. ThiskeyGonpa, is the most beautiful of all the monasteries in Ladakh, it belongs to the Gelukspa order of Buddhism. The Gonpa was first built at Stakmo by SherabZangpo.

Day 25 : Visit to Nubra valley.

After breakfast, leave for Nubra Valley, cross the highest motorable road in the world (KHARDUNG LA 18580 mtr) Descend into the Nubra Valley and drive besides the Shyok river and to sand dunes of Hunder to spend the night at a camp there.

Day 26 : Leave for Pangong Tso Lake.

After early breakfast departure for an overnight camping trip to PangongTso (Lake) which is 145 km (5hrs) away from Leh. Drive back to Leh. Overnight at the guesthouse. (Lake/Photography/Village/Taxi).

Day 27 : Complimentary acclimatization day trek.

Complimentary acclimatization day trek. Meet your guide and go for a day hike to see how you feel, come back by 4 pm and rest. Early dinner.

Day 28 : Likir – Yangthang

Likir – Yangthang After breakfast in the Guest house we start the drive in jeep to Likir village Today's trek is four to five hours long, through two low passes. The first pass is Phobe La (3585 m) from where you can see Sumdo hamlet with three families at the bank of Saspochey stream. To reach there you have to walk down along the zigzag trail and to cross the stream very carefully trough the narrow log bridge. Near the stream stop for few minutes to refresh. Then ascend up by sandy trail, ignoring the motorable road, until you reach the top of Chagatse La (3730 m). At the pass you will have great views of the Yangthang village as well as surrounding mountains and valleys on both sides. Then walk down slowly along the motorable road to Yangthang. Overnight in Homestay (3600 m).

Day 29 : Yangthang – HemisShukpachan

Yangthang – HemisShukpachan Today you have to walk for about three hours to reach HemisShukpachan village through Tsermangchan La (3880 m). Overnight in the Homestay (3670 m) at the topmost point of the village, in a traditional Ladakhi house welcoming you with Chang (local barley beer) or GurGur tea (salt butter tea).

Day 30 : HemisShukpachan – Temisgam

HemisShukpachan – Temisgam Today's trek is four to five hours long, and you need to cross two passes. The first pass, Rongtil La (3790 m), is about half an hour from the HemisShukpachan village. From the pass, traverse the slope of the rocky mountain until you reach the base of Mebtak La where you can refill your bottles with cold spring water. Then ascend up to Mebtak La (3840 m). After having a rest enjoying cool fresh air and great views, descend to the Ang village (3550 m) or to the Temisgam village (3230 m). In the afternoon (or in the next morning) you can visit the Temisgam monastery and the old palace to have a very nice view of the surroundings. Overnight in Homestay in either Ang or Temisgam.

Day 39 : back to leh.

Today you have a late morning and can spend the morning walking around and exploring the village before getting picked by the jeep to go back to leh. It takes two hours and half drive to get back to Leh.

Day 40 : Day of complete rest.

Day of complete rest, go the banks of Indus River for a lunch picnic and enjoy the warm afternoon. Evening, Shopping at the Leh market.

Day 41 : Depart to Airport.

Early morning transfer to the airport to take flight to Delhi.
